In one youtube video, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is seen asking a dead person to recite ‘Kalima’. This thing (MaazAllah) is not allowed in Shariah
Following is taken from this website and has been paraphrased below:
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has indeed reminded Kalima to a dead Person. It is absolutely permissible to make dead person recite Kalima per Shariah because it is proven from Prophetic Hadith and traditions that dead people can hear. Dr.Tahir-ul-Qadri has done this in accordance with Hadith.
